Fire Training Toolbox was created with this notion in mind. We are living and working in a unique time. Information can be shared at the click of a button, at light speed and sent across the globe. If you have information that can improve our level of service, share it! FTT is not about egos, popularity, or saving for retirement. We are Firefighters who love our trade and the people we serve with. Want to be a part of this movement? Just let us know, we want to help you share your message. Founded by Chris Huston of engineco22.net & John Shafer of greenmaltese.com in September of 2012 and Chris Sterricker of backwardsandstupid.com joined as Lead Advisor in December 2012.
EngineCo22.net is a web resource dedicated to Firefighter Health, Wellness, Safety and Training. Since 2006 this site has promoted the Fire Service and those who dedicate themselves to the most noble profession in the world. A key element of this site, is and will always be, our independence and "Grass Roots" origin. Webmaster Chris Huston, with his start in music, always had a "Do It Yourself" attitude. This site is built from scratch and will stay true to the mission we swore to see through, make the Fire Service a little better then we found it. We are "The Keepers of the Faith".

In recent days of live burn training. I found that the demonstration hood that I've had on loan from First Response Protection had tremendous benefits in protecting my ears and my neck from not only intense ambiance heat but also direct fire that we were affected by as we created flashovers while testing thermal imagers. - Hats off to Captain Jim Hoods for Firefighter Safety.
